Celebrate Earth Day at Good Ground Park in Hampton Bays on Saturday April 21, 12 – 4pm. View 20 electric & hybrid energy saving vehicles, sign up for a FREE solar energy evaluation, free home energy audit, and tour a tiny house. There will be raffles, food trucks and face painting too!




Goal: Reduce transportation impacts on environmental quality, greenhouse gas emissions and public safety through the promotion of alt modes including walking, biking, transit, higher vehicle occupancies, and low-emission/alternate fuel vehicles.

  • FREE transportation from LIRR to Ocean beaches
  • Evaluate EV for Senior Services Shuttle Bus
  • Identify grant opportunities
  • Consider Electric Vehicles and siting EV charging stations for public access
