Honoring Our Veterans

Honor Flight Long Island, is a regional hub in the national Honor Flight Network whose mission is to honor America's World War II and Korean veterans by providing an all-expenses-paid, round-trip excursion to their Memorials in Washington DC. Southampton Town provides administrative support in this mission.

If you are a World War II or Korean War veteran and have not seen your Memorial in Washington DC, you are eligible. Veterans fly absolutely free. Guardians, who escort and assist during the day-long trip are asked to make a suggested $400 donation which is applied toward the day's expenses including airfare, food and ground transportation.
