Honor Flight Long Island
Honoring Our Veterans
Honor Flight Long Island, is a regional hub in the national Honor Flight Network whose mission is to honor America's World War II veterans by providing an all-expenses-paid, round-trip excursion to their World War II Memorial in Washington DC. Southampton Town provides administrative support in this mission.

If you are a World War II veteran and have not seen the World War II Memorial in Washington DC, dedicated in 2004, then you are eligible. While World War II veterans fly absolutely free, Guardians, who escort and assist during the day-long trip are asked to make a suggested $300 donation which is applied toward the day's expenses including airfare, food and ground transportation.
