Community Housing Fund (CHF)

On November 8, 2022, Southampton Town voters approved a local law to amend Chapter 140 of the Southampton Town Code to establish a half-percent tax to fund the Peconic Bay Region Community Housing Fund, which will allow for the creation of affordable housing opportunities in the town.

An Advisory Board reviews the Town’s Community Housing Plan and makes recommendations to the Town Board on possible housing opportunities. If you are interested in participating on the advisory board please complete the attached application and return it to via email to  chfapplications@southamptontownny.gov
