Red Creek Skate Park is a 15,000 square foot outdoor facility. It features an asphalt color-coated base, half pipes, vert walls, above ground bowl, and street course. There is a beginner’s area for those just starting out. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.

Annual Skateboard Park memberships and daily passes are available. Skaters under the age of 17 must have a parent/legal guardian present when purchasing an annual membership or a daily pass.

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is now accepting registrations for Act TWO. Act TWO is for all teens in grades 8 - 12 who have always wanted to try acting, but didn’t feel comfortable trying out. Participants work with other youth to decide what important messages others should know about and how to succeed as a teenager in our community. Through writing and performing, youth will have an opportunity to teach others what they have learned. Classes are held on Thursdays at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Avenue, from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. Registration is ongoing but required in advance. Band applications are now available for the Southampton Youth Bureau’s 15th Annual Battle of the Bands. This year’s competition will be held on Friday, June 9th 2017(Rain Date: Friday, June 16th) at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays from 8:00pm – 11:00pm. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00pm on Friday, May 12th 2017 and can be sent or dropped off to:

The Southampton Youth Bureau and the Hampton Bays Library Teen Center will be hosting a Video Game Tournament on Saturday April 29, 2017 at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Ave. Registration begins at 10:30am and the tournament will start at 11:00am SHARP. Admission is $5 for all participants. The Tournament will include games such as Mortal Kombat, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Halo 4, NBA 2K13, Forza Motorsport 4, Madden, Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers and more! Tournament is open to grades 5 – 12 and participants will be divided into middle and high school brackets. Winners in each bracket will be entered to win a brand new gaming console, courtesy of the Hampton Bays Public Library. Additional prizes will also be awarded in each bracket. Who’s going to be the Town’s next Baking Champion? We just might find out when the Southampton Town Youth Bureau hosts a Baking Contest for students in grades 5 -12 on Saturday, April 29, at 3:00pm at the Hampton Bays Community Center.
The Theme is Spring. The categories are cupcakes, muffins and cookies. Entries will be judged on consistency, flavor and presentation by notable bakers Simon Jorna of Beach Bakery, and Councilwomen Christine Scalera and Julie Lofstad. Prizes will be awarded in each category. Join us for sampling entries, try your hand at cookie decorating, and enjoy the festivities!
Bakers should bring at least 18 servings of each entry, a printed copy of their recipes and, if applicable, include any related anecdotes. “This recipe has been handed down through 5 generations.” Or “I first tasted these cookies in a Jersey Shore diner.” Registration deadline has been extended to Wednesday, April 26th.
