Supervisor Extends State Of Emergency In Town Of Southampton To Address Outdoor Dining Restrictions

Supervisor Jay Schneiderman has signed Emergency Order #12.1 to address certain restrictions regarding outdoor dining in the Town of Southampton. The purpose ofEO#l2.1 is to temporarily amend several sections of Southampton Town Code Chapter 250 (Outdoor Sidewalk Dining), in order to accommodate restaurants during this time. In particular, these amendments will allow more patrons to be served outside, subject to the inspection and approval of the Fire Marshal’s Office, and in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Orders.

This order is in effect as of 12:00 a.m. on July 21, 2020 through July 25, 2020 at 11:59 p.m., and may be renewed thereafter if deemed necessary and appropriate.
