PSA August 29, 2011 - Portion of Dune Road opening

Please note that at this time, advisory only pertains to a segment of Dune Road in Hampton Bays so as not to report

From Southampton Town Emergency management in conjunction with the Southampton Town Supervisor’s Office and Southampton Town Police Department that portion of Due Road will be opening at 11:30 AM Monday, August 29, 2011 – Ponquogue Bridge will reopen at 1130hrs.

• Ponquogue Beach (Town Beach) will open at 1130hrs.
• Dune Road east of Ponquogue Bridge will reopen to vehicular and pedestrian traffic at 1130hrs. 4WD vehicles are recommended due to standing water and sand build up/debris.
• Dune Road west of Ponquogue Bridge is currently under assessment and will only be open to Dune Road business owners and homeowners at 1130hrs.
