Acquired by the Town in July 1952 and operated as a bathing beach until a 1994 hurricane washed away road access, Pikes was re-opened in 2001 after the parking facilities and comfort stations were restored. Features: Lifeguard protection, restrooms, outdoor shower, handicapped beach access and mobile concession. There are 57 parking spaces on the ocean side and 129 parking spaces on the bay side.
