A parent or legal guardian must accompany skaters under the age of 10 at all times. Children under the age of 7 are not allowed in the skating area.
All skaters must wear appropriate safety equipment. ANSI or SNELL-approved helmet is mandated. Kneepads and elbow pads are recommended. In-line skaters must also wear wrist guards. All equipment must be used per the manufacturer's specifications. Skaters must wear shoes.
Only skateboards and in-line skates are permitted in the Park during regular sessions. Bicycles may be permitted during special sessions. Scooters and motorized vehicles are prohibited at all times.
The Park must not be used when the equipment/apparatus is wet and/or icy. The supervisor/attendant on duty determines whether or not weather conditions permit the opening of the Park.
Skaters must use only the equipment that is appropriate for their skill level.
No skating or trespassing is permitted when the Park is closed. Violators will be prosecuted.
Recklessness will not be tolerated. All skaters must use the Park responsibly to avoid injury to themselves or others. The use of proper skater etiquette is expected at all times.
Profanity, abusive language, and/or fighting are not tolerated.
Smoking is prohibited within the Park.
Use of drugs, alcohol, and/or vandalism is prohibited on Town property.
The following are not allowed in the Park: food, beverages, gum, and loose items, such as backpacks, coats, and radios/boom boxes. Glass containers are prohibited on Town property.
Report all injuries immediately to the supervisor/attendant on duty.
Report visible hazards and/or repair needs to the supervisor/attendant on duty.
The Town is not responsible for personal property.
Any infraction of these rules may result in the loss of Park privileges. Violation of these rules may result in ejection from the Skate Park.
