The Southampton Town Police Department is excited to announce our annual “Shop with a Cop”, which aims to bring joy and support to children in need during the holiday season. This fun filled night will take place December 12, 2024 at 6:00pm and we invite community members to join us in making a difference. The families will meet us at Police Headquarters for a festive meal before heading over to Walmart in Riverhead where each child will be joined by a Southampton Town Police Officer to do some holiday shopping.
“Shop with a Cop” pair’s children from underserved families with police officers for a day of holiday shopping. Each child will receive funds to purchase presents for themselves and their families, fostering a positive relationship between our officers and the community while ensuring children experience the joy of giving and receiving during this festive time.
