On March 18, 2021 the New York State Public Service Commission (Commission) granted South Fork Wind, LLC (South Fork) a conditional Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need pursuant to Article VII of the NYS Public Service Law (PSL) for the South Fork Export Cable Project, a 7.6 mile, 138 kilovolt alternating current electric cable. The Project will connect the South Fork Wind Farm, located off the coast of Long Island, to the Long Island Power Authority’s existing mainland electric grid in the Town of East Hampton, Suffolk County.

Information received at the public hearing will be transcribed and will be included in the record considered by the Commission in this matter.
