Temporary Beach Driving Closures on Town of Southampton Ocean and Bay Beaches Effective Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 9:00am through Monday, January 26, 2026 at 9:00am Due to Winter Storm

The Trustees of the Freeholders and Commonalty of the Town of Southampton will be temporarily closing all Town of Southampton ocean and bay beaches to beach driving effective Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 9:00AM through Monday, January 26, 2026 at 9:00AM due to the Winter Storm.

Boat Ramp Use Advisory:  Please use the Trustees Boat Ramps at your own risk and proceed with caution.

The Southampton Town Trustees advise residents and visitors that the Winter Storm is forecast to impact the area with hazardous weather conditions, including high winds, heavy snow, and dangerous coastal conditions.

During this closure period, beach driving is prohibited. Beach access may be unsafe due to rapidly changing storm conditions, coastal flooding, high surf, and drifting sand.

Residents are urged to use caution, avoid coastal areas during the storm, and follow all emergency advisories issued by local and state authorities.
