On Thursday June 7, The Town of Southampton launched an updated website. Over the past several years, website services and website information has become a staple for local government and its citizens. These services include paying one’s taxes, applying for permits, learning about recreation progams, finding community events to attend and applying for the wide range of water quality protection and energy conservation programs offered by the Town to name just a few examples.
Colleen Jones, Graphics Supervisor and Debra Keller, Website Manager who work in the Citizens Response Center have worked to develop a more user friendly website and one that will be equally as functional on all electronic devices – smartphones, iPads, Kindles and computers. The goal of this upgrade is to make information and services more readily available to all members of the community. To that goal, the upgraded site meets all federal ADA compliance standards.
The Town hopes that all who line in and visit our community find that these upgrades make access to local government information and services more efficient, reliable and informative. Please visit the Town’s upgraded website at http://southamptontownny.gov/
