The last band of the season takes to “Good Ground on Stage” as the summer concert series at Good Ground Park comes to a close this week.
“PM Overdrive” plays at the park Thursday, August 29th at 7pm. The band is best known for rock favorites from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. The concert is co-sponsored by the Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce. Rain Date is Friday, August 30th. “Petty Rumours” was scheduled to play this Thursday but had to cancel due to an injury. Luckily, “PM Overdrive”, who had gotten rained out in July, were able to step into the slot.

About 500 people packed the park last Thursday, August 22nd for a concert by “The Complete Unknowns”. The Bob Dylan tribute band was the latest in a series of well attended concerts this summer at Good Ground Park. To date, more than 4500 people attended a total of 9 concerts.
“I want to thank all those who attended the concerts this year and your continued support of Good Ground Park,” said Parks Director Kristen Doulos. “We are already busy planning other events at Good Ground Park, including a Halloween event and a Holiday celebration.”
