2019 FALL LEAF PROGRAM WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2019

ALL RESIDENTS Under Age 73 MUST USE BIODEGRADABLE PAPER BAGS (NO PLASTIC BAGS ACCEPTED) See list of biodegradable bag suppliers.
ALL REGISTERED RESIDENTS OVER AGE 73 CAN PUT LEAVES OUT LOOSE PLEASE CALL 631-702-2585 BEFORE NOVEMBER 25TH TO REGISTER IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO ALREADY.
We also have: VOUCHERS FOR RESIDENTS WITH CONTRACTORS: Vouchers will be issued on November 15, 2019 and leaves can be taken to the transfer stations beginning same day.
First time Voucher Recipients must provide the following information:
- Photo identification and telephone number of property owner
- Landscaper/Contractor’s name and phone number
- Provide an address where voucher should be mailed to Send by fax to 631-728-3605
or mail it to: Southampton Town Highway Department 20 Jackson Avenue, Hampton Bays, N.Y. 11946
REMINDERS
- ALL RESIDENTS may self-haul LEAVES for NO CHARGE YEAR ROUND to any of the Transfer Stations (excluding Sag Harbor).
- THIS PROGRAM IS FOR LEAVES ONLY.
- NO LARGE TREE PARTS, TREE TRIMMINGS OR PRUNINGS ACCEPTED.
- NO BAMBOO, GRASS CLIPPINGS OR ORNAMENTAL GRASS ACCEPTED.
- THIS PROGRAM IS FOR TOWN RESIDENTS ONLY.
- PLEASE DO NOT PLACE LEAF BAGS OR PILES INTO THE ROAD OR NEAR TOWN DRAINS
