On December 9, 2019, Santa received some helping hands from members in law enforcement. The Southampton Town Police, NYS Police, Southampton Village Police, Southampton Town Police Explorers, and HUGS Inc. participated in spreading holiday cheer for families that needed some assistance this holiday season. Children from the Town of Southampton went shopping at Target in Riverhead and enjoyed a fun filled dinner by Salvatore’s of the Hamptons in Hampton Bays and Panera Bread in Riverhead. Donations for the event came from Target, The Southampton Town Patrolmans Benevolent Association, and The Southampton Town Superior Officers Association to make the children’s holiday shopping spree even larger.
The Southampton Town Police Department would like to thank Salvatore’s of the Hamptons in Hampton Bays and Panera Bread in Riverhead who donated a fun filled dinner for the participants to feast on. A special Thank You to Target in Riverhead for their continued support and collaboration that allows Southampton Town Police Department to continue their mission to reach out and help our community.
