Please join us as the Town of Southampton hosts a series of Virtual Public Forums for the Town to gather community input, thoughts and ideas about housing in our community.

The Town of Southampton is currently preparing a new Housing Plan, which will be adopted by the Town Board as an updated element of the Comprehensive Plan.  Preparation of the Housing Plan has just started and gathering community input at the Virtual Public Forums is critical to developing the Housing Plan.  The virtual forums will be conducted by the planning consultants, VHB from White Plains, hired by the Town.

“The Housing Plan will guide the Town in its future development of affordable housing," said Diana Weir, Director of Housing and Community Services.  “Community input is the most important part of this process and we encourage everyone to participate.”

A series of nine Virtual Public Forums will be held in the following communities:

North Sea - Tuesday, July 21^st 

Noyac /  Sag Harbor  - Thursday, July 23^rd 

Southampton / Shinnecock Hills / Tuckahoe - Wednesday, July 29 

Water Mill - Thursday, July 30^th 

Westhampton-Speonk-Remsenburg-Eastport-Quiogue - Tuesday, August 4^th 

Bridgehampton / Sagaponack - Thursday, August 6^th 

East Quogue - Tuesday, August 11^th 

Flanders / Riverside / Northampton - Thursday, August 13^th 

Hampton Bays - Tuesday, August 18^th
