The Southampton Fire Chief’s Council has announced that our Fire Departments will be activating their sirens to honor the 19th anniversary of the tragic day of 9/11. If you hear sirens, this is no cause of concern, as this is to commemorate this major event in our nation’s history. This will symbolize each department’s tribute to those we have lost in the Twin Towers, Pentagon, Shanksville, PA and those who continue to suffer due to the horrible acts of this day.
The sirens will be activated at:
8:46 AM North Trade Tower hit
9:03 AM South Trade Tower hit
9:37 AM Pentagon hit
9:59 AM South trade tower collapses
10:07 AM Flight 93 crashes in Pennsylvania
10:28 AM North Tower Collapses
Please join the Southampton Fire Chief’s in a moment of silence to remember and honor those lives who have been lost.
