PICKLEBALL - NEW!Instructor: Ken Henderson, Director Traveling Pickleball Pros Place: Red Creek Park, 102 Old Riverhead Road, Hampton Bays
What is Pickleball? A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. A fun-filled sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. Played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes. Played as doubles or singles. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Please wear comfortable athletic wear and shoes!

90 minute Pickleball Clinic Class for players brand new to the game or only playing a short period of time. Strokes that will be taught are: Dink Shots, Serve, Return of Serve, Volleys and Drive Shots. Matchplay, Positioning and Scoring will also be reviewed

These 2 hour clinics are geared for the experienced Intermediate Player looking to improve their technique on Strokes such as: Volleys, Serve, Return of Serve as well as Dink Shots & 3rd Shot Drop. In the last 30 minutes you will play with and against the Pro’s while we critique your matchplay.
INTERMEDIATE /ADVANCED CLINIC CLASSDates: Saturday, June 20 & Saturday, July 11 Time: 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Fee: Resident $80 per player (per class) Non-Resident $85 per player (per class) *Participant is not required to take both classes
These 3 hour clinics are geared towards the Tournament/Advanced Players who will be taught the Progressive Warmup to get them ready for Doubles Matches. During Matchplay you will be videotaped and critiqued by a Pro while you play. Each player will then receive a video link sent to their email your own personal use to review. After videotape sessions, players will receive tips on Movement, Positioning & Strategy. Fur-thermore, we will break down the Soft Game (Dinks & 3rd Shot) into easy to learn steps. In the last 30 minutes you will play with and against the pros while we give you helpful suggestions for your game.

The logical sequence of exploring art materials is presented by Amanda Fennell, The Art Nanny, a certified art teacher, with a master in creative arts therapy. Her years of extensive experience will be presented in each session with an organic teaching style. Focus will be on the group, as well as the individual’s creative pro-gression through-out the series. Come explore the basics needed to comfortably “Dabble” into making your own art! Materials and aprons provided - you keep all of your creations. INDIVIDUAL ART DABBLEIndividuals have the liberty to create, while learning how materials function. A ma-ture attitude is required to instill a safe place to create willingly.
