The Town of Southampton is developing a Climate Action Plan focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions generated throughout the community from electricity, heating and cooling buildings, transportation, and waste disposal. Below is a breakdown of the key community-wide sources of greenhouse gas emissions in Southampton. The Plan will prioritize actions that support environmental and community objectives, and improve quality of life for Southampton residents.
