Training Course Starts July 5!
Lifeguard Surf Training
Age:Anyone age 16 or over who wishes to work as a lifeguard. Above average swimming ability and physical condition required. Any individual who has not completed a state-approved lifeguard training program, as well as anyone whose previous certification has been expired for more than 12 months, must complete a full course in order to be certified to work as a lifeguard in Suffolk County.
Fee: Residents $200 Non-Residents $250
Place: Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Ave. Students will be given schedule at first class.
PLEASE NOTE: CPR training & testing must be completed in addition to the Lifeguard course. We suggest you register for CPR when you register for lifeguard training.

Program 3: July 5, 12, 19, 26 - 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Community Center
July 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23 - 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. TBA
Test: Thursday, July 26 - 8:00 am - Ponquogue Beach
All classes/test are held rain or shine
Lifeguard C.P.R. Training
Dates: July 9, 10 & 13
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Must attend all three classes)
Place: Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Avenue
Fees: Residents $90 Non-Residents $110 (Includes book fee)
Courses include introduction & organization, injury prevention, rules & regulations, emergency planning, first aid, practical skills, and a written test. Course approved by NYS Health Department.
