The Southampton Youth Bureau and the Hampton Bays Public Library will sponsor a Movie Night at Good Ground Park, 9a Squiretown Rd on Thursday, August 9th with a showing of “Shrek” at 8:00pm. Admission is free and families are welcome to attend! Come on out a half hour earlier for arts & crafts.

Open Mic Night at Good Ground Park

Friday, August 10th, youth in grades 5 - 12

Youth in grades 5 - 12 will have the opportunity to showcase their talents by performing live at the amphitheater in Good Ground Park, 9a Squiretown Rd from 6:30pm - 9:00pm. Acoustic performers, bands, spoken word, poetry and comedic acts are welcome to participate. Performing is absolutely free.

Comic Extravaganza

Saturday, August 25th - open to all ages on
Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Ave
11:30am to 4:00pm

The Southampton Youth Bureau & Rise Above Social Issues Foundation Inc will be sponsoring a free ‘Comic Extravaganza’ open to all ages on Saturday, August 25^th at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Ave. Come on out from 11:30am to 4:00pm and wear your best costume - Prizes will be awarded! Merchandise will be available to purchase from artists & vendors. Graphic novel artwork will also be on display. If you are a local youth and would like to display your artwork, please contact the Southampton Youth Bureau by Friday, August 17^th.

Teen Nights at Ludlam Park

Teens in grades 7 -12 are invited to hang out and participate in numerous activities which include basketball, soccer, baseball, games, crafts, free food, DJ/live music, and more! In the event of inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors at The Drop Spot, 655 Flanders Road. Every Wednesday until August 29th from 7:30pm – 11:00pm.

Pool Nights at SYS

MONDAYS (GRADES K - 4)
THURSDAYS (GRADES 5 - 12)
5:00PM - 8:00PM

Have fun swimming, playing sports, video games, air hockey & much more at the SYS Recreation Center, 1370a Majors Path. The pool is open on Mondays (Grades K – 4) and Thursdays (Grades 5 – 12) from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and roundtrip transportation is available for $2 from the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Rd. A bathing suit and towel are required so don’t forget it!
