Information for resident boat owners requesting dock space

Applications for the waitlist will be accepted
from December 1, 2018 through February 1, 2019
If necessary, a lottery will be conducted in February

  • Selected applicants will be required to make a $500 non-refundable deposit prior to March 15, 2019 to secure the slip. The balance is to be paid on or before April 15, 2019. (Amex/MasterCard/Visa/Discover accepted. Checks payable to Town of Southampton).

  • All applications must include a copy of the boat’s registration, insurance and proof of Town of Southampton full-time resident/taxpayer status. Please contact the Maintenance Office at (631) 728-4170 for acceptable forms of proof. 

  • A minimum liability insurance policy for no less than $300,000 per occurrence must remain in effect for all times the vessel is docked or stored on the Town’s property. The Town of Southampton must be listed as a certificate holder and should be notified by the insurance company if for any reason the policy is cancelled.
