Town Encourages Residents
to Sign-Up  for  Notify Me®,

Dear Neighbors and Visitors:

This September, as part of National Preparedness Month, the Town of Southampton encourages all residents to stay informed and sign-up for Notify Me®, a convenient and easy-to-use communication tool that allows citizens to receive town-related information directly to their email or mobile device.

Residents can manage their own subscriptions about urgent information such as emergencies and town road closures; or pleasurable updates regarding Parks & Recreation, Youth Bureau, Senior Programs, etc.

Sign-up for the following notifications:

  • Emergencies
  • Road and Facility Closures
  • Extreme Traffic Situations
  • Public Service Announcements
  • Meeting Agendas
  • Events
  • Jobs
  • Park and Recreation Programs
  • Youth & Senior events
  • & Much, Much More.
In addition to Notify Me, residents are encouraged to download a copy of our Be Prepared pocket guide. (Available in English & Spanish) This handy and compact pamphlet is designed specifically for Southampton residents, with valuable information such as: important telephone numbers, advice on caring for the elderly and those with special needs, ensuring your pet's safety, protecting your home or business, and assembling a "go bag" and home emergency kit.

Citizens can also stay informed by joining us on the Town's Facebook and Twitter pages.

We encourage all citizens to use these resources to assist you in keeping you and your family safe and to stay informed for both emergency and enjoyable information.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Town's Citizens' Response Center (CRC) at (631) 702-2440
