Village beach passes must be purchased from the Village of Southampton. (Coopers Beach)
All town of Southampton beach passes can be purchased online or at Parks and Recreation

5. How do I rename a road?

To rename a road 80% of the homes on that road will need to sign a petition that you create.
 Stating they agree on the name change. They must be notified by registered mail; return receipt requested.

Work being done in the town of Southampton by must have a Southampton contractors license (Example: window company in queens needs to acquire a license from Southampton to put in windows in a home in the Town of Southampton. 

Board meets 2^nd Wednesday of every Month. Application need to be in the Friday before. Still takes three weeks to be processed.

Law Enforcement personnel respond to thousands of false alarm calls yearly. These unnecessary responses result in an enormous burden in manpower and expense; which in turn reduces the time available to respond to real emergencies.

The Suffolk County Police Department responds to 911 calls within the Police District which includes the five westernmost townships in Suffolk County, except for a few village departments. Townships in the Police District are: Babylon; Brookhaven; Huntington; Islip; and Smithtown.

Do NOT register if your alarmed location is within a village with its own police department: Village of Asharoken; Village of Huntington Bay; Village of Lloyd Harbor; Village of Northport; Village of Amityville; Village of Head of the Harbor; Village of Nissequogue; and the Village of Ocean Beach.

Do NOT register if your alarmed location is within the Townships of: East Hampton; Shelter Island; Southampton; Southold; or Riverhead.

Since 1974, Suffolk County Consumer Affairs has been dedicated to resolving complaints, enforcing Suffolk County Code, and obtaining restitution for Suffolk consumers. 20. Do Electricians and Plumbers need Suffolk County Licenses to get a Southampton License?

Electricians are required to hold a Suffolk County Master or Restrictive License, no registration required with the Town of Southampton

Plumbers need a Suffolk County Master or Restrictive License to get a Town of Southampton Registration 

Home Improvement Contractors need a Registered NYS business or Suffolk County DBA to get a Southampton Town license, just a Suffolk County license is not accepted by the Town of Southampton
