Facilities

This park is owned by the Town of Southampton and is dedicated to the memory of fallen heroes during various wars and events. Park benches and plaques provide visitors with information and means to reflect. This parcel was created by the straightening of Flanders Road in 1931. 

The Flanders Fire Department has a Fireman’s Memorial at the park and in 2011 added two pieces of steel that they received from the World Trade Center. The pieces were erected near the Fireman’s Memorial and a new memorial was created as a Remembrance of September 11th.
