Bands comprised of local high school students will rock the house at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays on Friday, June 12th. Gates will open at 7:00pm and the Battle will begin promptly at 8:00pm. The event, sponsored by the Town of Southampton Youth Bureau, will bring together teens from all over Southampton Township and will provide a memorable experience for bands chosen. Audience members will have a chance to win prizes by answering music trivia questions and the best band will be awarded at the end of the night. Admission is $5 at the door. In the event of bad weather conditions, the Battle of the Bands will be rescheduled for Friday, June 19th. For more information, please contact the Youth Bureau at (631) 702.2425.
