Registration is now open for The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau’s “Youth and Government” program. Youth & Government is sponsored by the Alliance of NYS YMCAs and is a national program that involves teens in state-organized, model-government programs. Students in grades 9 - 12 will have the opportunity to practice experiential civic engagement and learn about the democratic process. Youth will discuss and debate issues that affect citizens of New York State and will get a chance to attend the state conference with youth from across New York.
The Southampton Youth Bureau’s Youth & Government program is held on Wednesdays from October to April in a hybrid format. Official October start date TBA soon! For more information, please call (631) 702-2425 or Councilman Tommy John Schiavoni at (631) 287-5745.

Do you need a quiet study area, homework help, and/or computer or internet access? If so, come on out to the Southampton Youth Bureau's Free Academic Support program! Program is held November 3rd – December 17th on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:00pm – 5:00pm. All ages/grade levels are welcome!

The Southampton Youth Bureau's Chess Club is held on Wednesdays (November 4th – December 16th) from 5:00pm – 6:30pm. Students are taught to challenge themselves, build self-confidence, meet new friends, reduce stress, and learn strategy & discipline through the game of Chess. This program is free and open to grades K - 8.
