DESCRIPTION:Bands comprised of local high school students will rock the ho
 use at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays on Friday\, June 12th. Gates will 
 open at 7:00pm and the Battle will begin promptly at 8:00pm. The event\, 
 sponsored by the Town of Southampton Youth Bureau\, will bring together t
 eens from all over Southampton Township and will provide a memorable expe
 rience for bands chosen. Audience members will have a chance to win prize
 s by answering music trivia questions and the best band will be awarded a
 t the end of the night. Admission is $5 at the door. In the event of bad 
 weather conditions\, the Battle of the Bands will be rescheduled for Frid
