The grade crossing at Gleason Drive in East Quogue will be closed for approximately 10 hours, from midnight until 10:00am on Saturday, July 19, for emergency repairs. This is a full replacement of the crossing: rubber pads, ties and rails. The MTAPD will be present to protect the work zone. The crossing will be impassible to both vehicles and pedestrians while work is completed; a road plate will be on site in case first responders need to respond. The MTA apologizes for the short notice.
