A HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK AND HIGH SURF ADVISORY ARE IN EFFECT. At the direction of Suffolk County Department of Health Services, swimming shall remain prohibited at all ocean beaches until Saturday morning, 8/23/25, due to hazardous conditions expected as a result of Hurricane Erin. Follow all directives of the lifeguards and Town personnel in order to keep yourself and them safe.

Please be advised that there is currently a HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK AND HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT until at least Friday, 8/22. Swimming will be prohibited at Town ocean beaches on Wednesday, 8/20 and Thursday, 8/21, and may be extended as necessary. Follow all directives of the lifeguards and Town personnel in order to keep yourself and them safe.
