2026 Beach Parking Permits
Beach Permit Sales Schedule
Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM starting April 1.

Beach Permit Types & Required Documents
Residents/Homeowners Beach Permit
Early Bird Rate: $50 per vehicle
Peak Season Rate: $60 per vehicle
- A valid vehicle registration with a physical Southampton Town address (PO Boxes are not acceptable as a physical street address) OR a valid vehicle registration with the name matching the homeowner on a current Southampton Town tax bill.
- If the home is owned by an LLC or Trust, full documentation must be provided to prove residency for the name on the vehicle registration. LLCs and Trusts must reflect 30% ownership share or more.
Resident Year-Round Renters
Early Bird Rate: $50 per vehicle
Peak Season Rate: $60 per vehicle
A valid vehicle registration with a physical Southampton Town address OR a valid vehicle registration with a local PO Box AND two (2) of the following:
- Three utility bills (Cable or Electric only): one current, one dated six months ago, and one dated 12 months ago
- Three utility bills for both Cable and Electric (satisfies two options)
- Driver’s license with a physical Southampton Town address
- Voter registration card for the Town of Southampton
- W-2 or income tax return with Southampton Town residential address
Note: Leases and insurance cards are not acceptable.
Resident Definition: A resident is defined as a person who, for at least 12 months immediately preceding the application, has maintained a principal place of abode and continuously resided within the Town of Southampton. Proof of residency is determined by the Parks & Recreation Department.
Senior Resident Beach Permit (Age 62+)
Early Bird Rate: $40 per vehicle
Peak Season Rate: $40 per vehicle
- Must meet Resident/Homeowner requirements.
- Must provide proof of age for the name on the vehicle registration.
- If the vehicle is not registered in the senior resident’s name, it is not eligible for a senior permit.
Veterans / Fire / EMS / Military (Residents Only) Beach Permit
No Fee – One Courtesy Permit Per Year
- Veterans or active military must provide DD214, VA Card, or Military ID in addition to resident requirements.
- Active local volunteer Fire/EMS members must provide department ID and local vehicle registration (must be listed on department roster).
Non-Resident Full Season Beach Permit
(Excludes W. Cameron Beach)
Early Bird Rate: $500 per vehicle
Peak Season Rate: $525 per vehicle
- Must provide valid vehicle registration.
Foster Memorial (Long) Beach Only Permit
For Town of East Hampton residents residing within the Village of Sag Harbor only
Early Bird Rate: $50 per vehicle
Peak Season Rate: $60 per vehicle
- Must provide current Sag Harbor Village tax bill matching the vehicle registration name.
- Year-round renters must also meet year-round renter documentation requirements.
Marine Park Permit – Ed Warner Sr. Old Ponquogue Bridge Marine Park
For Suffolk County Residents
Early Bird Rate: $125 per vehicle
Peak Season Rate: $135 per vehicle
- Required 24/7, 365 days per year to launch a boat.
- Required for parking only May 15 – September 15, 24 hours per day.
- Must provide valid vehicle registration and proof of Suffolk County residency.
Town Employee (Non-Resident) Beach Permit
Early Bird Rate: $75
Peak Season Rate: $80
- Full-time Town of Southampton employees are eligible for one permit per person, per season.
- Must provide valid vehicle registration in employee’s name and Town-issued employee ID.
- Permit must be purchased at the Parks Office.
Payment Information
- Online payments accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.
- Online transactions incur a non-refundable $2.25 service and license fee.
- All credit card purchases (online or in person) incur a non-refundable 3% processing fee.
- Credit cards, checks, or cash accepted at Parks Office walk-in locations.
- $25 service fee for returned checks.
Reissued Permit Fee
$15
- Must supply original current season permit, old vehicle registration, and new vehicle registration.
- Names must match.
Important Notice
NO REFUNDS. Permits are valid for Town beaches only (not Coopers Beach or Village/County beaches). There will be no refunds for accidental purchases.

- Tiana Beach (East Quogue)
- Ponquogue (Hampton Bays) ♿
- Flying Point Beach (Water Mill) ♿
- Mecox Beach (Bridgehampton)
- Sagg Main Beach (Sagaponack) ♿
- Foster Memorial (Long) Beach (Noyac) ♿
Please download the Passport app prior to attending one of these locations, but do not purchase a permit until you are physically at the location and confirm parking availability.
